Lingual Appliances are another ‘discrete’ option for adults and older teenagers. Given the demand for more natural braces, lingual appliances have the benefit of going unnoticed to others, as they are attached to the inside of the teeth making them truly invisible.
We use the Incognito appliance which provides a fully customized bespoke low profile design; this enhances comfort and helps minimize irritation of the tongue.
Treatment times can vary. Lingual braces are more difficult to place with increased time in the dental chair which also increases the cost of this treatment option. Lingual appliances are only available as a private treatment option.
